Third Eye Blind, Gym Class Heroes will visit KC during World Cup. Here’s when
More free concerts are coming to Kansas City around the time of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, this time hosted by Sporting Kansas City.
The Soccer Capital Summer at Sporting Park announced free concerts and performances in Kansas City, Kansas, from artists and DJs locally and nationally, along with games, food and other entertainment options for fans visiting while the tournament is active. It’s a big part of a series of events across the Kansas City region that will lead up to a celebratory watch party at Sporting Park for the World Cup final July 19.
Leading the way is ‘90s rock band Third Eye Blind, who’ve created generation hits like “Semi-Charmed Life” and “Jumper.” They will perform Saturday, July 18, on the eve of the tournament final.
Other headlining acts scheduled to perform include:
- Travie McCoy and Gym Class Heroes: Sunday, June 28. The alternative hip-hop artist and his group are known for hits like “Stereo Hearts,” “Cupid’s Chokehold” and “Billionaire.”
- Logan Mize: Monday, July 6. The country singer is originally from Clearwater, Kansas, three hours southwest of Sporting Park in KCK.
- Coco & Breezy: Sunday, July 19. The American twin sisters are house DJs that infuse their Afro-Latino roots into their sound.
“Soccer Capital Summer will transform Sporting Park into an immersive, experience-driven festival that blends global soccer culture with hands-on fan engagement,” Sporting KC said in a statement.
Who else is performing at Sporting Park this summer?
In addition to the headlining acts, Soccer Capital Summer at Sporting Park will feature numerous local talent on their stage throughout the tournament. It kicks off on June 17 and June 18 with a collaboration with COLORS, a local music organization bringing global sounds like Afro, Latin, UK Garage and more to the Kansas City area.
Grammy-nominated Latin rock band Making Movies and DJ FK Menace perform Monday, June 22. The next time the fan festival is open, visitors can listen to DJ Vinyl Richy (Sunday, June 28), DJ Ashton Martin (Monday, July 6) and DJ Dawna (Tuesday, July 7).
Hip-hop artist The Royal Chief performs Thursday, July 14. DJ Dom Chronicles takes the stage Friday, July 15, and DJ Casio McCombs plays Saturday, July 18.
What else can you do at the Soccer Capital Summer?
Visitors can create keepsakes like custom trading cards and photo keychains with charm bars. They can also try their feet at daily soccer skill challenge zones with rotating games like soccer tennis, subsoccer and precision shooting.
Fans can also get flash tattoos inside Sporting KC’s locker room, watch a live mural painting across the stadium’s newly renovated Sporting Plaza, and visit a family-friendly hub with face painting, mascot appearances, balloon artists, henna and caricature artists.
Soccer Capital Summer will show live viewings for more than 20 World Cup matches across 10 days. The watch parties start June 17-18 and June 22 with group stage matches. The watch parties continue with knockout round matches June 28 and July 6-7 before the semifinals on July 14-15 and the medal matches on July 18-19.
The events will have a general-admission capacity of 8,000 fans; 2,000 more fans will be allowed in premium spaces. SKC season-ticket holders will receive discounts on parking, food, beverages and retail items throughout the events.
The events will be hosted at Sporting Plaza, with general admission seating available in sections 101-113 of the stadium. Ticket packages offering access to the premium tower will also be available.
General admission tickets can be reserved now for group-stage matches, the Round of 32 and the Round of 16. GA tickets for the semifinals, third-place match and final can be reserved beginning May 18.
Parking can be bought on SeatGeek for $15 for season-ticket members and $20 for the public. Parking passes bought on the day of the event will be $25.
