Which countries do you want to play in KC at the 2026 FIFA World Cup?

In a few days, Kansas Citians will learn the answer to an important question that’s been on many soccer fans’ minds since 2022: Which countries are coming to Kansas City for the World Cup in 2026?

On Friday, Dec. 5, the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw will be held in Washington, D.C., where the 48-nation field will be separated into 12 four-team groups. On Saturday, the group-stage matchups and where those games will be played, including matches in Kansas City, will be revealed.

Who do you want to see play in Kansas City?

Kansas City will be the site of two Group J games (June 16 and 27), and one each from Group E (June 20) and Group F (June 25). Later, Kansas City will be the site of a Round of 32 knockout stage game July 3, and will be one of four cities to host a quarterfinal match on July 11. Canada, Mexico and the U.S. are already pre-assigned to groups that will not play in KC.
