▪ OUTLOOK: With a victory, UMKC (4-2 in the Western Athletic Conference, 9-14 overall) will be no worse than second place after the game, and the Kangaroos meet the team, New Mexico State, currently in first place on Saturday. The ’Roos are coming off a victory at Utah Valley, clamping down the defense in the second half. Reese Holliday had 14 of his 17 in the second half. Texas Pan-American (2-4, 8-14) has lost four of five but gave New Mexico State a battle last weekend in a five-point loss. The WAC’s top two scorers square off in this game, the Broncs’ Janari Joesaar (18.8 ppg) and UMKC’s Martez Harrison (17.9).
