▪ OUTLOOK: The Kangaroos, 5-9, started a three-game road trip with a 73-70 double-overtime victory over Indiana State. Martez Harrison’s 34 points were the most by a UMKC player since 2007. Thaddeus Smith tied a school record with seven blocked shots. The ’Roos are looking for their first winning streak of the season. Canisius, 6-4, is coming off a victory over Holy Cross. Guard Zach Lewis leads the Golden Griffins with 13 points per game. UMKC plays Saturday at Miami, Ohio.
