▪ OUTLOOK: The Kangaroos have defeated a major (Missouri) and two Division II programs, but as seeking to beat a fellow mid-major for the first time. All of UMKC’s losses have been by 10 points or fewer. Point guard Martez Harrison leads the Western Athletic Conference with 4.63 assists per game and is third in scoring average at 17.8. South Dakota State is led by Cody Larson, who averages 14.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Next up for UMKC is a trip to Iowa State on Tuesday.
