The Kangaroos are coming off a competitive 10-point loss at Kansas State on Monday. … Forward Reese Holliday, who started the opening-game victory over Missouri, didn’t play in Manhattan because of an injury. … The Miners walloped NAIA Missouri Baptist 102-70 in their opener and took a 1-0 record into Tuesday’s game at Central Missouri. … UMKC signed 6-9 forward Ikem Eriobuna from Otero Junior College in Colorado on Tuesday. He will have two seasons of eligibility starting in 2015-16.
