UMKC’s Kareem Richardson hires new assistant basketball coach

The Louisville-to-UMKC basketball pipeline continues with the hiring of Andre McGee.

McGee, who has been the basketball operations director under coach Rick Pitino the past two years, will serve as an assistant under Kareem Richardson, who arrived from Louisville last year.

McGee replaces Sean Bledsoe, who left the program for personal reasons, according to Richardson.
