UMKC gets commitment from Colorado prep player, 4th in Mark Turgeon’s first class
The recruiting trail is UMKC’s March Madness.
The Roos, under new coach Mark Turegon, received a commitment from Elliot Moskowitz, a 6-4 combo guard from Colorado Prep near Denver.
Moskowitz, a three-star prospect by 247Sports, becomes the program’s fourth commitment under Turgeon. He’s the son of Mike Moskowitz, a former head coach at Western Colorado University.
Last week, the Roos got commitments from three Kansas City area players: Olathe North’s Cameron Love, Josh Kori of Oak Park, and DJ Jackson of Piper.
Turgeon was hired in February, continuing his coaching career after a four-year hiatus. He previously had been the head coach at Maryland, Texas A&M and Wichita State.
