Kansas City Roos men’s basketball takes care of business against Calvary University

The Kansas City Roos were able to get one back in the win column on Saturday night.

Kansas City, which had lost two straight, rolled by Calvary University 94-32 at Swinney Center.

The Roos’ losses in the previous two games both came in the Eracism Invitational in Jonesboro, Arkansas over Thanksgiving weekend.

The Roos did not have any trouble on Saturday against Calvary.

Sam Martin led the way for Kansas City with a career-high 22 points. Jacob Johnson had 13 points, 12 rebounds and four steals for the Roos.

The Roos improved to 4-4 on the season. The Roos’ only other game at the Swinney Center so far this season was a 99-36 victory over Kansas Christian on Nov. 17.

Kansas City is set to be back in action on Friday night at Swinney, as the Roos host Green Bay.
