KC Roos basketball team drops fourth in a row in home loss to Grand Canyon
The Kansas City Roos’ losing streak hit four games Sunday in a 69-66 loss to Grand Canyon at Swinney Center. The game was rescheduled from Saturday because of travel problems that affected the Antelopes.
Brandon McKissic’s three-pointer with 11 seconds left pulled the Roos (9-11, 2-4 WAC) within a point of Grand Canyon but the Antelopes (7-11, 2-2) went six for six from the free-throw line down the stretch to secure the win. McKissic scored all of his team-high 16 points in the second half.
Javan White, the Roos’ leading scorer and rebounder, missed his third straight game. KC’s next game is at 9 p.m. Saturday at California Baptist.
