UMKC women come up short against Grand Canyon

The UMKC women stuck with Grand Canyon for three quarters on Thursday night in Phoenix.

But the Kangaroos went cold in the fourth quarter and lost to the Antelopes 75-64.

UMKC trailed at the end of three quarters 53-52, but Grand Canyon outscored UMKC 22-12 in the fourth quarter.

Aries Washington led the Kangaroos with 24 points and nine rebounds.

UMKC fell to 6-13 overall and 1-5 in the WAC, while Grand Canyon improved to 11-7, 3-2.
