Late three gives UMKC women overtime victory over Abilene Christian
India Johnson scored when the UMKC women’s basketball team needed a bucket on Saturday at Abilene Christian.
And no basket was bigger than Johnson’s three-pointer with 1.7 seconds left in overtime.
The basket gave the Kangaroos a 71-68 victory in Abilene, Texas.
Johnson, who played in high school at Shawnee Mission North, scored 14 points in the second half and finished with a game-high 19 points.
UMKC improved to 4-3 with the victory, while Abilene Christian dropped to 3-5.
