Missouri freshmen Montaque Gill-Caesar and Namon Wright were suspended for Saturday’s game against Texas A&M, the school announced about 30 minutes before tipoff.

The suspensions were for “violation of team policies.”

That brings to three the number of suspended players unavailable Saturday. Freshman guard Tramaine Isabell will miss his third game Saturday.

Gill-Caesar is the team’s third-leading scorer, averaging 9.6 points, but he’d scored only a total of nine during the last three games.

Wright averages 5.5 points.

The suspensions left Missouri with eight scholarship players available for Texas A&M, and all but four players have served a suspension at some point during coach Kim Anderson’s first season.

Missouri, 7-15 overall and 1-8 in the SEC, was trying to break an eight-game losing streak Saturday.
