Wide receiver from Mississippi commits to Missouri
Missouri received its first wide receiver commitment for the class of 2015 when Richaud Floyd of Gulfport, Miss., made a pledge Tuesday on Twitter.
“Committed to the Univ. Of Missouri,” Floyd said on social media.
Floyd, 5 feet 11 and 165 pounds, becomes Missouri’s 10th overall commitment for next year’s class. He is a two-star recruit, according to Rivals.com.
He joins a class that includes Lee’s Summit quarterback Drew Lock, Lee’s Summit West running back Ryan Williams and two offensive linemen from metropolitan Kansas City, Blue Valley’s A.J. Harris and Kearney’s Tanner Owen.
Floyd also had offers from Cincinnati, Memphis and Southern Mississippi.
