Mizzou nabs commitment from former Louisville recruit Frankie Hughes
Frankie Hughes committed to Louisville in October and signed with Rick Pitino’s Cardinals in November.
He had a change of heart during the next four months and was released from his national letter of intent March 22.
Now, Hughes, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Garfield Heights in Cleveland, will be a Missouri Tiger.
Hughes — who was a high school teammate of Mizzou signee, Willie Jackson — committed Sunday during an official visit to Columbia.
Hughes is a consensus three-star prospect is ranked as the No. 215 player in the 2016 class by 247 Sports, which also pegs him as the No. 40 shooting guard in the nation.
