Missouri junior center Evan Boehm and senior defensive end Markus Golden picked up watch-list honors earlier in the week, but Thursday the pair added more plaudits.

Boehm is one of 64 players selected for the Outland Trophy watch list. The award honors the top interior lineman on either side of the ball.

He was announced Tuesday as part of the watch list for the Rimington Award, which honors the nation’s best center.

The SEC led all conferences with 19 selections for the Outland watch list, which also included two Kansas State teammates — center B.J. Finney and guard Cody Whitehair.

Meanwhile, Golden was among 81 players chosen for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list. The award is given to the top defensive player in the country.

Golden, who was selected Monday for the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list, registered 55 tackles, including 13 for a loss, with 6 1/2 sacks and eight quarterback hurries last season in a reserve role.

Kansas State defensive end Ryan Mueller, a St. Thomas Aquinas graduate, also made the cut for the Nagurski watch list along with Kansas linebacker Ben Heeney.
