Missouri basketball walk-ons Haith, Feldmann leave program
Missouri confirmed Wednesday that two walk-ons, Danny Feldmann and Corey Haith, were no longer part of the men’s basketball team.
Haith’s departure was expected after his father, Frank Haith, left the Tigers in April to become the head coach at Tulsa.
He hasn’t officially been added to the Golden Hurricane roster, but Corey Haith — who appeared in 16 games during two seasons at Missouri and suffered a torn ACL last season — is expected to follow his dad.
Haith, a 5-foot-10 guard, will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Feldmann, a Jefferson City native who had one remaining year of eligibility, was more of a surprise. He played at Columbia University as a freshman before transferring to the Tigers.
Feldmann, a 6-foot-9 forward, appeared in 23 games during the last two seasons, including a signature four-point, four-rebound performance in 22 minutes against Davidson during the National Invitation Tournament opener last season.
The departures leave Missouri with 12 players, including redshirt freshman walk-on Hayden Barnard.
First-year head coach Kim Anderson has two scholarships available for the upcoming season.
