▪ WHEN/WHERE: 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Pavilion at Ole Miss in Oxford, Miss.

▪ TV/RADIO: SEC Network; KMBZ (98.1 FM)

▪ ABOUT MISSOURI (10-17, 3-11 SEC): Freshman forward Kevin Puryear’s career-high 23-point outburst Saturday at Arkansas put him in some lofty company. Puryear, a Blue Springs South graduate who leads the Tigers in scoring with 313 points, is only the eighth MU freshman to top 300 points. The others are Steve Stipanovich (445, 1979-80), Derrick Chievous (418, 1984-85), Nathan Buntin (402, 1986-87), Kelly Thames (391, 1993-94), Anthony Peeler (362, 1988-89), Doug Smith (338, 1987-88) and Kareem Rush (323, 1999-2000).

▪ ABOUT MISSISSIPPI (17-10, 7-7 SEC): Rebels junior forward Sebastian Saiz missed six games as he recovered from an eye injury, including a 76-73 win Feb. 3 at Missouri. He’s back and makes an already big Mississippi squad that much more formidable inside. Of course, it hasn’t been a smooth transition back into the rotation. Saiz is averaging 6.3 points and 4.5 rebounds in four games since the injury. He had been averaging 12.8 points and 9.8 rebounds during the season’s first 17 games.
