▪ WHEN/WHERE: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Mizzou Arena in Columbia

▪ TV/RADIO: SEC Network; KMBZ (98.1 FM)

▪ ABOUT MISSOURI (9-16, 2-10 SEC): The Tigers snapped a nine-game losing streak Saturday against Tennessee and hope that confidence carries over against a South Carolina squad that only prevailed 81-72 against the Tigers on Jan. 16 in “Columbia East.” Missouri senior forward Ryan Rosburg has averaged 20.7 points and 7.7 rebounds during the last three games, but freshman forward Kevin Puryear has been almost as good, checking in at 16.3 points and 6 rebounds in that same span.

▪ ABOUT SOUTH CAROLINA (21-4, 8-4 SEC): The Gamecocks whiffed on a chance to remain in first place in the SEC and instead got hammered 89-62 on Saturday against Kentucky at home. But don’t blame senior forward Michael Carrera, who poured in 25 points on 13 shots with a team-high 10 rebounds. He presents a matchup problem for Missouri, as he does for most teams, with his combination of strength, size and athleticism. The Gamecocks have lost two of their last three on the road.
