A month after he was hired to coach the defensive line at Missouri, Chris Wilson has left for the same position with the Philadelphia Eagles.

New Eagles coach Doug Pederson, formerly the Chiefs offensive coordinator, confirmed the hire at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., on Wednesday.

Wilson’s hire by the Tigers was announced on Dec. 21. He had coached defensive lines at Colorado, Oklahoma, Mississippi State, Georgia and Southern California. Before beginning his college career, Wilson had NFL minority internships with the Dallas Cowboys (1995), Arizona Cardinals (1997) and Miami Dolphins (1998).

Wilson, who played at Oklahoma from 1988-91, was hired at Missouri to replace Craig Kuligowski. Kuligowski was hired by new Miami, Fla., coach Mark Richt.
