▪ ABOUT ARKANSAS (8-7, 2-1 SEC): Against Mississippi State on Saturday, guards Dusty Hannahs and Anthlon Bell combined for 51 points and went 13 of 20 from three-point range. Arkansas was 16 of 24 overall from long range, and guard Jabril Dunham added 12 assists for a backcourt that’s playing lights out. Junior forward Moses Kingsley provides balance to the lineup and could feast on Missouri inside if too much of the defensive focus is on the perimeter.
▪ ABOUT MISSOURI (8-7, 1-1 SEC): Missouri shot less than 40 percent from the field Saturday in a 76-61 victory against Auburn, but that makes the dominating performance seem a bit more impressive. The Tigers’ defense limited an Auburn team that ranks fourth in the SEC in three-point shooting to 30.4 percent from long range and 16 points below their season scoring average. Repeating that against the Razorbacks, who lead the conference in scoring (83.8 ppg) and three-point shooting (44.4 percent) won’t be easy.
