▪ WHEN/WHERE: 4 p.m. Saturday at Mizzou Arena in Columbia

▪ TV/RADIO: SEC Network; KMBZ (980 AM)

▪ ABOUT MISSOURI (5-7): Jakeenan Gant got his first start for the Tigers in the loss to Oklahoma State. Johnathan Williams III had 22 points against the Cowboys, a career best. This is the second meeting between the teams. Missouri won 89-69 in 2006. The Tigers open SEC play Thursday against LSU at home, travel to Auburn on Saturday then take on top-ranked Kentucky on Jan. 13.

▪ ABOUT LIPSCOMB (5-8): The Bisons are coming off a 78-60 loss to Chattanooga on Monday, a game in which they committed 24 turnovers. Three of the team’s five victories have come against Division I programs. They’ve defeated Austin Peay twice. Maybe Lipscomb’s best effort came in a nine-point loss at Colorado.
