▪ ABOUT ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF (2-11): The Golden Lions have played a brutal schedule, so don’t be completely misled by the lousy record. Arkansas Pine-Bluff, which has yet to play a home game, lost at Oklahoma State, Michigan State and Iowa State by 14. Of course, coach George Ivory’s squad also lost by more than 20 points against Cincinnati, Nebraska, Army, Hawaii and Texas Tech.
▪ ABOUT MISSOURI (5-6): Playing a doubleheader with the Tigers women’s team, which plays Charlotte at 5:30 p.m., coach Kim Anderson’s squad aims to snap the second three-game skid of the season and return to .500. It’s a must-win game against an Arkansas-Pine Bluff squad ranked 335th among 351 teams by KenPom that averages only 55.2 points per game, which is 346th nationally.
