▪ ABOUT MISSOURI (2-3): The Tigers are trying to snap a three-game skid. Last time out, Missouri nearly erased a 14-point halftime deficit, beating Northwestern 38-29 in the second half. The Tigers need more production from guards Namon Wright, K.J. Walton and Wes Clark, who were a combined seven of 40 from the field during the CBE Classic games at the Sprint Center.
▪ ABOUT ARKANSAS STATE (2-4): Despite a losing record, the Red Wolves boast a plus-2.7 rebounding margin. Arkansas State, which got pummeled by Oregon and Baylor last week, and Missouri have had similar shooting issues this season, making fewer than 42 percent from the field and less than 32 percent from three-point range. John Brady, who coached at LSU during 1997-2008, is the Red Wolves’ coach. He will retire after the season.
