Missouri lands commitment from junior college offensive lineman

Missouri landed a junior college offensive tackle and potential replacement for senior left Mitch Morse on Wednesday when City College of San Francisco sophomore Malik Cuellar committed to the Tigers.

Cuellar is a 6-foot-5, 290-pound native of Fortuna, Calif., and a three-star recruit, according to Rivals, 247 Sports and ESPN.

He posted Wednesday morning on Twitter that he was committed to Missouri.

Cuellar, who is expected to enroll at MU in January, also visited Arizona State, Miami (Fla.), Rutgers and Texas Tech and had offers from Mississippi State and Utah among others, according to Rivals.

He is the third known offensive line commitment in the class of 2015, joining Blue Valley’s A.J. Harris and Kearney’s Tanner Owen.

Cuellar was a pulling tackle in junior college, so he has lined up on the left and right sides. His highlights can be found here.
