▪ WHEN/WHERE: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati

▪ TV/RADIO: Fox Sports 1; KMBZ (98.1 FM)

▪ ABOUT MISSOURI (2-0): Missouri is off to a fine start, not just because the Tigers beat two mid-major opponents, but because the team looked enthusiastic, energetic and competent in doing so. Of course, a road battle at Xavier in the last of three games in five days to start the season won’t be easy. MU is undersized and must do a better job on the boards, but a win would ramp up expectations for the season significantly.

▪ ABOUT XAVIER (1-0): The Musketeers toppled Miami (Ohio) 81-72 by dominating the boards, especially the offensive glass, and controlling the paint. Xavier scored 20 second-chance points 18 offensive boards as part of a 42-25 overall rebounding edge. Missouri must do a better job on the glass, especially against Jalen Reynolds. He had 16 points and 15 rebounds in the opener.
