Hawaii beckons
Missouri will play host to Oral Roberts on Wednesday, which will serve as its final preparation for the Maui Invitational. The Tigers’ three-game schedule in Maui begins Nov. 24 against Arizona.
“We have a lot of work to do in three days,” Anderson said. “We got better from Friday to Sunday. Hopefully we’ll get better from Sunday to Wednesday. And then we’ll have a chance to go over there and play three good teams. … I’m excited about that. But I’m worried about Oral Roberts right now.”
▪ Guard Keith Shamburger played a team-high 37 minutes, though he took only two shots and scored five points.
“He doesn’t really have to score to be effective,” Anderson said. “I thought he was really, really good tonight.”
