Missouri played before the largest crowd in program history Saturday at Kyle Field.

Despite chilly, rainy conditions, the official attendance at Texas A&M was announced at 104,756, which is nearly 200 more than the previous record for a game involving the Tigers.

The only other time Missouri played in front of a crowd larger than 100,000 was Oct. 4, 1975, at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, a 31-7 loss against the Wolverines.

Surprise A&M injuries

Texas A&M also had a depleted defense as it turned out.

Missouri was down two starters, strong safety Braylon Webb and cornerback Aarion Penton, in the secondary to start the game, but the Aggies were without starting sophomore defensive end Myles Garrett, who is second in the SEC with 11 sacks, and starting senior defensive tackle Ivan Robinson.

Both were injured in the upset win Nov. 8 at Auburn.
