Missouri at Georgia: Three-minute preview
When/where: 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga.
TV/radio: SEC Network; KMBZ (98.1 FM)
The series: Georgia leads 3-1
The line: Georgia by 16
What’s at stake
It’s an elimination for any hope of winning the SEC East. Georgia and Missouri, which each have two conference losses already, trail undefeated Florida by two games.
Cheers if ...
Missouri’s offensive line buckles down and shows the kind of grit and physicality it did against South Carolina. That unit took a step back against Florida and must do a better job protecting quarterback Drew Lock.
Jeers if ...
The Tigers dig an early hole. Missouri has been outscored 57-56 in the first half this season, the first time that’s happened since 2000. The margin is 54-42 against Football Bowl Subdivision competition.
Tod Palmer’s pick: Georgia 27-17
Night games between the hedges are incredibly tough on opposing teams, and Georgia gets a Missouri team struggling to move the football and generate points in that rowdy atmosphere.

Three things about Georgia
1 Quarterback Greyson Lambert, a Virginia graduate-student transfer, ranks fourth in the SEC with a 158.8 pass efficiency rating. He completed a Bulldogs record 22 straight passes against South Carolina and finished with an NCAA record 96-percent completion percentage, going 24 of 25 in that game.
2 Sophomore running back Sony Michel finished with career highs of 22 carries and 145 yards against Tennessee after Nick Chubb suffered a knee injury on his first carry of the game.
3 Georgia’s leading pass rusher, Jordan Jenkins, who has three sacks this season, is questionable with a strained hip flexor.
Key matchup
Quarterback Drew Lock vs. Georgia’s defense: Missouri needs to score more points than it did against Florida. The Bulldogs are bound to try to disguise coverage much like the Gators did, so it’s critical that Lock decipher things quickly and accurately.
