SEC announces Missouri’s future conference football opponents
When Missouri plays Texas A&M on Nov. 15, it will mark the fifth consecutive season the teams have played in football since 2010.
It also will be the Tigers’ last scheduled meeting against the Aggies until 2021 and the last visit to College Station until at least 2026 after the Southeastern Conference released its 12-year football schedule Monday.
Missouri has seven permanent opponents, including the remaining six teams in the SEC East division and its permanent cross-division rival, Arkansas.
With the conference opting to stick with an eight-game schedule, the Tigers will play the remaining SEC West teams only once every six seasons.
Missouri plays at Texas A&M in 2014, at LSU in 2016, at Alabama in 2018, at Mississippi State in 2020, at Auburn in 2022 and at Mississippi in 2024.
The Tigers host Mississippi State in 2015, Auburn in 2017, Mississippi in 2019, Texas A&M in 2021, LSU in 2023 and Alabama in 2025.
Missouri will alternate home and away with its SEC East foes as well as Arkansas.
The Tigers host Georgia, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Arkansas in 2014 with road games at Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee. The schedule will flip in odd-numbered seasons.
