Morgan Eye breaks Mizzou’s 3-point career record

Junior guard Morgan Eye broke Missouri’s career record for three-pointers Thursday with 9 minutes, 7 seconds remaining in the first half of a 66-56 upset against No. 25 Georgia at Mizzou Arena.

Eye’s 227th three-pointer broke Alyssa Hollins’ all-time Tigers record. She later added another long-range bomb and has connected on 228 of 563 career three-point tries, a 40.5-percent clip.

Meanwhile, senior guard Bri Kulas, a Shawnee Mission North graduate, scored 11 of her game-high 24 in second half as Missouri, 13-3 and 2-1 in the SEC, pulled away.
