Missouri Tigers football lands commitment from former Ohio defensive lineman

“D-Line ‘Zou” added some depth over the weekend.

Former Ohio defensive lineman Bralen Henderson, an incoming redshirt senior, has committed to the Missouri Tigers football program after a stint in the transfer portal. Henderson has one year of eligibility remaining.

In four seasons with the Bobcats, Henderson tallied 51 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He was part of an Ohio defense that propelled the team to an 11-win season in 2024 — the program’s first 11-win campaign since moving up to FBS I-A prior to the 1962 season.

The Ohio State defense ranked in the top 15 nationally in points allowed per game (18.1) and yards per game allowed (303.1). The Bobcats also finished second in the MAC in total sacks with 35.

Coming out of Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Henderson was a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports. He didn’t receive a single I-A offer; most of his offers were from FCS schools in the Northeast, including Army, Brown, Dartmouth, Navy and Princeton.

Now, he’ll play his final collegiate season in the Southeastern Conference.

Henderson also strengthens the pipeline from Pennsylvania to Mizzou that coach Eli Drinkwitz helped create. The Tigers landed a pair of transfers from the Keystone State in quarterback Beau Pribula (York, Pennsylvania) and linebacker Josiah Trotter (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania).

Freshman quarterback Matt Zollers hails from Royersford, Pennsylvania, while quarterback Gavin Sidwar, a class of 2026 commit, comes from Warrington, Pennsylvania.

Former Tigers land with NFL teams

A former Mizzou football player has agreed to terms with an NFL team as an undrafted free agent, while another has been invited to rookie minicamp — with the Chiefs.

Defensive tackle and 2024 team captain Kristian Williams signed with the Denver Broncos and linebacker Corey Flagg Jr. was invited to the Chiefs’ rookie minicamp.

Williams played three seasons at Mizzou after lettering two years at Oregon. Flagg played one season at Mizzou after four years at Miami.
