Where Brady Cook and other Missouri Tigers landed following the 2025 NFL Draft

Missouri football’s longtime quarterback is headed to the New York Jets.

Brady Cook, a five-year veteran of the Mizzou program, went unselected in the 2025 NFL Draft. But shortly after the draft, he signed with the Jets, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported on X/Twitter.

Cook is coming off a final campaign in which injuries sidelined him more than preferred, but the veteran still stood out for the Tigers with both his play and toughness. That included his return from a midgame hospital trip for an MRI against Auburn, when Cook led the Tigers to a comeback win.

NFL analyst Lance Zierlein cited that toughness as one of Cook’s strengths following the combine:

“Tantalizing prospect thanks to his athleticism and arm talent. ... Cook’s physical traits and athletic ability are worth a discussion as a developmental prospect,” Zierlein said.

Cook threw for 2,535 yards in his final year and rushed for 223 yards. He put up 16 total touchdowns.

In his time with the Tigers, Cook became one of the few Mizzou QBs to reach 10,000 total yards of offense. He joined Chase Daniel, Brad Smith and Drew Lock, all while being the only Mizzou QB with 9,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards.

Other Missouri Tigers undrafted free agents

Wide receiver Theo Wease Jr. will sign an undrafted free-agent deal with the Miami Dolphins, The Star’s Sam McDowell reported on X/Twitter.

Johnny Walker Jr., a standout edge rusher at Missouri, will sign with the Denver Broncos, the Denver Post’s Luca Evans reported. Both Walker and Wease had received a smattering of mock draft projections.

Running back Nate Noel is also signing with the Miami Dolphins, according to KPRC (Houston) reporter Aaron Wilson.

The Tigers’ NFL Draft selections were Armand Membou (first round, No. 7 overall) and Luther Burden (second round, No. 39) and Marcus Bryant (seventh round, No. 220 overall).
