Missouri Tigers’ MIZ to YOU spring caravan tour is coming to Kansas City first: details

The Missouri Tigers are hitting the road for their annual spring caravan tour around the Show Me State ... and this year’s first stop is Tuesday evening in Kansas City.

Dubbed the ZOU to YOU tour, the popular localized gatherings typically feature Mizzou head coaches from major sports programs like football and basketball (as their recruiting schedules allow), as well as student-athletes and staff, Truman the Tiger and the Mizzou Spirit Squads.

The Mizzou Athletic Department on Monday confirmed that athletic director Laird Veatch, football coach Eliah Drinkwitz, men’s basketball coach Dennis Gates and women’s basketball coach Kellie Harper will all attend Tuesday’s event from 6-8 p.m. at Chicken N Pickle in Overland Park (5901 W 135th St., Overland Park, KS 66223).

They’ll interact with fans, sign autographs and share Tigers gear.

“Our fans are the heartbeat of everything we do, and we can’t wait to bring the excitement of Mizzou Athletics and our ‘Will to Win’ directly to them with our ZOU to YOU Tour,” Veatch said in a news release.

“These stops in Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and Dallas are incredible opportunities to connect with our supporters and share our vision for the future. We look forward to seeing Tiger fans in full force and making each stop a special experience.”

Fans can register to attend at MUTigers.com. Subsequent ZOU to YOU bus tour events into May and June will be announced there eventually, too.
