These 4 Missouri Tigers football players received invites to 2025 NFL Scouting Combine
Four Missouri Tigers football players — including a product of Lee’s Summit North High School — on Thursday received invitations to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
Receivers Luther Burden III and Theo Wease Jr., quarterback Brady Cook and offensive lineman Armand Membou — the former Lee’s Summit North Bronco — will all participate in the NFL’s annual scouting event, which this year runs from Feb. 27-March 2.
During that week at Lucas Oil Stadium, the Mizzou quartet will join players from other colleges, breaking into their respective position groups to run through drills in front of watchful representatives from all 32 NFL teams.
A good week in Indy could mean a rise in draft position for any or all of the four Tigers. This year’s NFL Draft is set for April 24-26.
In all, some 329 players who are eligible for the 2025 NFL Draft were invited to this year’s scouting combine.
Membou, 20, is projected by many to be a first-round selection. He stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 332 pounds and might wind up being an interior lineman in the NFL, as opposed to a tackle.
But some prognosticators suggest that his length could also enable him to play tackle in the league.
A St. Louis native, Burden, too, is projected by many to be a mid-first-round talent. Some draft experts think he could be selected within the first 10 picks.
Burden had 86 receptions for 1,212 yards and nine touchdowns for the Tigers in 2023 before cooling off in 2024, when he finished with 61 catches for 676 yards and six TDs.
