Missouri lands commitment from Georgia linebacker Tobias Little

Missouri’s recruiting efforts in Georgia continue to pay dividends as the Tigers landed a verbal commitment Wednesday from another Peach State prospect.

Mays linebacker Tobias Little indicated on Twitter than he has committed to coach Gary Pinkel’s program.

Little — a 6-foot, 236-pound athlete from Atlanta — is a Rivals three-star recruit. He’s ranked No. 46 in Georgia and No. 23 in the nation at inside linebacker.

Judging by his highlight reel, Little lined up primarily at defensive end as a junior, but he is listed as a linebacker/running back on the Raiders’ roster.

Little’s lead recruiter was defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski.

He had a long list of offers, including fellow SEC programs Mississippi State and South Carolina.

Little also had offers from Clemson, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Louisville, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Virginia Tech among more than a dozen Football Bowl Subdivision offers.

He is the 12th known commitment in the 2016 class, including the second player from Georgia (McNair wide receiver Christian Holmes) and second linebacker (Trey Baldwin from Cypress Falls High in Houston).

The Tigers signed three players from Georgia in February and four others in the 2013 and 2014 recruiting classes.
