Missouri senior wide receiver Darius White missed a second straight game with “a significant abductor tear” in his right groin.

White, who also sat out at South Carolina, hoped to return after the bye week, but he did not dress against Georgia.

“We found out at Wednesday afternoon’s practice,” Tigers coach Gary Pinkel said. “He tried to go and just couldn’t go.”

During Monday’s weekly news conference, Pinkel was optimistic that White, who is second on Missouri with 230 yards and third with 15 receptions and three touchdowns, would return.

Senior wide receiver Jimmie Hunt, who also sat out against South Carolina, returned and had two catches for 29 yards.
