Missouri Tigers in the running for one of college basketball’s top transfers
How would Isiaih Mosley look in a Missouri uniform?
Mizzou has emerged as a landing spot for the prized transfer from Missouri State, along with Mississippi State, according to CBS Sports college basketball reporter Jon Rothstein.
Mosley remains one of the top college men’s players without a school for next season. The 6-5 guard averaged 20.4 points for the Bears last season while shooting 42.7% on three pointers. He averaged 19.8 points as a sophomore.
Mosley had a pair of 40-point outings last season.
If he picks Missouri, Mosley would be coming home. He grew up in Columbia and played at Rock Bridge High. He was the state’s Mr. Basketball as a senior while playing on a team with Kansas point guard Dajuan Harris.
Name, likeness and image opportunities could be in play for a standout returning to his hometown.
New Tigers coach Dennis Gates has reconstructed Mizzou’s roster through the transfer portal. Three return from last season: Kobe Brown, Ronnie DeGray III and Kaleb Brown. The rest of the roster will be made up of newcomers, and Mosley would be perhaps the biggest get.
