Missouri Tigers coach Dennis Gates to lead West team in NABC All-Star Game at Final Four

Dennis Gates will serve as one of two head coaches in the NABC Reese’s Division I College All-Star Game Friday at the men’s Final Four in New Orleans.

The recently hired Missouri Tigers men’s basketball coach will lead the West squad. His team features Kansas State’s Mark Smith, who spent part of his career in Columbia under Cuonzo Martin, and two SEC talents in Kentucky guard Davion Mintz and Arkansas guard Stanley Umude.

Liberty head coach Ritchie McKay will lead the East team. The roster includes UConn guards R.J. Cole and Tyrese Martin, Illinois guard Trent Frazier, Wisconsin guard Brad Davison, Wake Forest guard Alondes Williams, Buffalo forward Jeenathan Williams, George Mason forward D’Shawn Schwartz, Cal State Fullerton forward E.J. Anosike, Tennessee forward John Fulkerson, Fordham forward Chuba Ohams and Richmond forward Grant Golden.

The game will air on CBS Sports Network at 3:30 p.m. Central time.

The Final Four kicks off on Saturday night. No. 1 seed Kansas faces No. 2 Villanova at 5:09 p.m., followed by the first-ever NCAA Tournament matchup between No. 2 Duke and No. 8 North Carolina. Both games are on TBS.
