Georgia cornerback T.J. Warren commits to Missouri

Conyers (Ga.) cornerback T.J. Warren committed to the Missouri football team Tuesday night.

Warren, a 6-foot and 190-pound senior at Rockdale County High, announced on Twitter that he would join the Tigers.

Warren is a two-star recruit, according to Rivals.com, but he fits the mold physically of cornerbacks Missouri has a track record of success with.

He is similar in size to Rams cornerback E.J. Gaines, a three-year starter for the Tigers, and current sophomore Aarion Penton.

Warren — who also had offers from Georgia Tech, Indiana and Marshall — runs a 4.4-second 40-yard dash with a 36-inch vertical, according to his Rivals profile.

He also has skills as a return specialist.

Warren, who was recruited by Tigers safeties coach Alex Grinch, is the 12th known commitment in the 2015 recruiting class and only the second defensive player, joining Webster Groves senior defensive back Cam Hilton.
