PREDICTION

There’s a lot working against Missouri football this weekend.

The Tigers are on the road against the No. 1 team in the country and likely without starting quarterback Connor Bazelak.

Mizzou will be facing arguably the best defense in the country with what is expected to be a combination of backup quarterbacks in Tyler Macon and Brady Cook. And that comes just a few weeks after the team lost one of its best offensive linemen for the season, Case Cook.

Georgia has only allowed an average 6.6 points per game and 3.76 yards per play to opponents all season, both of which are best in the FBS, so it’s hard to imagine the Tigers doing much with young, inexperienced players under center. That’s a lot to ask of any quarterback, let alone ones that have never started a game at the collegiate level.

Running back Tyler Badie has been incredible for Mizzou this season and a big factor in this game will be how he plays against a defense that has only given up 2.5 yards per carry and 75.6 rushing yards per game.

It doesn’t help Missouri’s case that the Bulldogs are averaging 37.9 points per game either. Especially considering how bad the Tigers’ defense has been this season.

I don’t expect this game to be close in any regard. A blowout is very likely in store.

Georgia 56, Missouri 6
