Mizzou lands 6th defensive pledge of 2021 recruiting class: a cornerback from Florida
The Missouri Tigers keep adding commitments on the recruiting trail. The latest: class of 2021 cornerback Zxaequan Reeves from Cocoa, Florida.
Reeves is listed at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, according to 247Sports. He’s not ranked by the 247Sports composite ranking — which features an overall look from multiple recruiting sites — but is listed as three-star recruit by 247Sports itself. Reeves announced his pledge to MU coach Eliah Drinkwitz’s program on Twitter.
Reeves had offers Pittsburgh, UMass and Florida Atlantic, too. He is the second recruiting win of the week after Drinkwitz picked up another corner, Daylan Carnell from the state of Indiana. Reeves is also the sixth defensive commitment for Mizzou.
