Missouri gets another football commitment from offensive tackle Royce Newman
Nashville (Ill.) offensive tackle Royce Newman on Saturday became the seventh verbal commitment in eight days for the Missouri football program.
Newman is the 11th known commitment in the 2016 recruiting class and the third offensive lineman.
He joins previous offensive line commits Trystan Castillo of Webb City (Mo.) and Mackenzie Nworah of Manvel (Texas).
Newman, a 6-foot-7 and 260-pound tackle prospect, also had scholarship offers from North Carolina State and several Illinois mid-major schools.
