Missouri football lands sixth commitment in seven days
Missouri is on a serious recruiting roll, landing its sixth commitment in seven days Thursday from Manvel (Texas) offensive lineman Mackenzie Nworah.
Nworah, a Rivals three-star recruit, gave the Tigers his verbal pledge on a visit to Columbia with several teammates.

— Mac (@Mackenzie_71) June 11, 2015Nworah is the 10th known commitment in the 2016 recruiting class and the second from Texas after Missouri failed to land any players from the Lone Star State during the February signing period.
Nworah, a 6-foot-4 and 305-pound prospect, also had offers from Kansas State, Arizona State, Boston College, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech among more than a dozen Football Bowl Subdivision programs, according to Rivals.
He is the second offensive lineman in the current recruiting class, joining three-star Webb City lineman Trystan Castillo.
Missouri’s recent recruiting hot streak started last Friday with a commitment from Columbia Rock Bridge defensive end Tre Williams, a four-star prospect who also had offers from Kansas State, Kansas, Arkansas, Arizona State, TCU and Nebraska among others.
McNair High cornerback Christian Holmes from Atlanta committed a day later and Williams’ Bruins teammate, cornerback Bryce Banks, also committed last weekend.
The Tigers landed a commitment from O’Fallon (Ill.) kicker Tucker McCann on Monday and Cypress Falls linebacker Trey Baldwin from Houston committed on Tuesday.
Those six players join a group of commitments that already included former East St. Louis (Ill.) teammates Natereace Strong and Greg Taylor.
Strong, a running back, and Taylor, a safety, committed to MU out of high school, but wound up together at Hinds (Miss.) Community College.
Both are expected to sign with the Tigers in February along with Ca’Ron Baham, who played quarterback at John Ehret High in Marrero, La., but is expected to convert to wide receiver at Missouri.
