Missouri football team gets commitment from cornerback, baseball team lands outfielder
Missouri football received its third commitment in as many days Sunday when cornerback Bryce Banks of Columbia’s Rock Bridge High School picked the Tigers.
Banks is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound two-star Rivals recruit, who also had a scholarship offer from Illinois and nearly a dozen midmajor programs.
He is the second Bruins player to commit to Missouri this weekend.
Banks, who confirmed the news shortly after noon Sunday, joins four-star Rock Bridge defensive end Tre Williams, who committed to the Tigers on Friday.

Holmes committed to Missouri on Saturday.

Baseball lands Balsamo
Missouri baseball also landed a commitment Sunday in Dodge City (Kan.) Community College outfielder Johnny Balsamo.
Balsamo, a Park Hill graduate, bats and throws left-handed.
He hit .394 with eight doubles, six triples, four home runs and 36 RBIs in 59 games for the Conquistadors as a freshman this spring.
