Missouri Tigers vs. Arkansas Razorbacks: Kickoff time, TV, five things to know

After a blowout win at Tennessee, Missouri returns home for the annual Battle Line Rivalry game against Arkansas with a great shot at getting to eight wins for the first time since 2014. Drew Lock, Paul Adams, Terry Beckner and others will play their last home game on Faurot Field and will look to take home a rock from the M, should Missouri win.

The details

Kickoff: 1:30 p.m. Friday

Where: Memorial Stadium, Columbia

TV: CBS

Radio: KMBZ (98.1 FM)

The line: Missouri by 21

Five things to know

  1. Is this the Kelly Bryant bowl?: Arkansas is considered to have an excellent shot at the Clemson transfer quarterback due to his relationship with Hogs coach Chad Morris, who recruited him to the Tigers originally. But MU has emerged as a legit contender for Bryant’s services. He could be under center in this game next season for one of these two teams.

  2. Have we seen the last of Albert O?: Missouri’s star tight end hasn’t played the last two games and it’s hard to see him playing on Friday. Is his MU career over, with the NFL next? Or will he come back to school for another year?

  3. Arkansas isn’t very good: The Hogs rank No. 113 nationally in total offense and No. 82 in total defense. Enough said.

  4. It’s Senior Day: So if MU wins, Lock, Beckner, Kendall Blanton and their senior cohorts will get to take a rock with them from the Rock M behind the north end zone. Odom is challenging fans to show up, even offering to buy their tickets if they can’t afford them.

  5. A win would...: Show progress under Odom and give Missouri in a chance to sneak into a New Year’s Day bowl game like the Outback Bowl in Orlando. Given that Missouri should have nine wins right now, that would be the ideal situation for the program.
