Mizzou wins opener in SEC softball tournament

Missouri opened the Southeastern Conference softball tournament Wednesday with a 9-0 victory over Mississippi State in Baton Rouge, La.

The Tigers, 39-13, were led by home runs from Corrin Genovese, Kelsea Roth and Kirsten Mack. Tori Finucane threw a shutout.
