Braggin’ Rights & other Mizzou basketball games to air on ESPN2
Tipoff times and TV channels have been announced for four Missouri’s men’s basketball games this season, and all of them are on ESPN2.
That includes the Braggin’ Rights game Dec. 23 against Illinois and the opening game of the AdvoCare Invitational at 10:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day against Long Beach State.
A potential semifinal game Nov. 24, assuming the Tigers beat the 49ers, would air on ESPNews, but the event’s championship is slated for — you guessed it — Nov. 26 on ESPN2 with West Virginia as a potential opponent.
The Tigers’ second game of the season, Nov. 13 against Wagner at Mizzou Arena, is scheduled for 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
Another Missouri home game, Dec. 19 against Stephen F. Austin, also was selected for an 8 p.m. tip on ESPN2.
The Braggin’ Rights game from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis will begin at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
It is expected that at least one of Missouri’s games against Kentucky, which are both on Saturdays (Feb. 3 in Columbia and Feb. 24 in Lexington, Ky.), will be selected by CBS for a national broadcast, a source told The Star.
The Southeastern Conference has yet to announce official game times and broadcast information for league games.
