Missouri football announces game with Idaho to round out 2017 schedule
Missouri announced Friday it has rounded out the 2017 football schedule.
The Tigers will host Idaho on Oct. 21, 2017, at Memorial Stadium, according to a news release from MU athletics.
Missouri had previously announced nonconference games against Missouri State (Sept. 2), Purdue (Sept. 16) and at Connecticut (Sept. 23).
“Our thanks to the Idaho administration and staff, we’re very pleased to work together to get this game scheduled,” MU executive associate athletic director Bryan Maggard, who oversees scheduling for Tigers football, said in a statement. “We appreciate their efforts and are glad to be able to close out the schedule for the 2017 season.”
Missouri, the two-time reigning SEC East division champions, are 2-0 against Idaho.
The Tigers beat the Vandals 14-10 in 1958 for the first win in Dan Devine’s tenure and won 24-0 in 1963. Both games were in Columbia.
Dates have not been announced for Missouri’s conference slate, but the Tigers will host Auburn, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee with road games at Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
