Kansas climbs to No. 9 in AP men’s basketball poll
After scoring two victories over ranked teams, Kansas returned to the top ten.
The Jayhawks are ranked ninth in The Associated Press poll, two spots up from last week.
Kansas defeated Oklahoma last Monday and won at Texas on Saturday.
Six Big 12 teams remained in the AP top 25: Iowa State is 15th, West Virginia 17th, Texas 19th, Baylor 20th and Oklahoma 24th.
Wichita State is No. 12.
Kentucky remained No. 1, receiving 64 first-place votes. Second-ranked Virginia got the other first-place vote.
In the USA Today coaches poll, Kansas is No. 11 and Wichita State 12th.
